If you find yourself in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, make a stop at the stadium complex in Arlington. Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers each have mega arenas within a stones throw of one another. Both open year round for events and tours and it's quite an experience. It's true, everything's bigger in TX. 🤯

Mount Bonnell is the best way to view the city if you find yourself in Austin, TX. Only about 10 min from city center! My Dad and I visited around this time last year.
In west/central Texas you pump the gas first and pay after... sense of trust is old school around these parts. 🇺🇸

One of my personal favorite activities while traveling is visiting local museums and historical sites... big fan of military history as well so seeing SAMA (San Antonio Museum of Art) as well as the Alamo was definitely something awesome to see 🤍
Just outside of San Marcos is this little enclave area with a few little restaurants, shops and businesses! Came across Lampost on my way to Austin TX and found their cold brew to be seriously fantastic! Their baristas are also super friendly and are travelers themselves... they both love Newport RI and visited the mansions! Wild 😍
Canyon Lake, TX is the perfect reset... if you are visiting Austin or San Antonio, this beautiful setting is only an hour from both. It's quiet during the winter and spring months and is immersed in the Texas Hill Country region. Peace and quiet only fifteen minutes from big box stores.
